Do you need an extra room?

Have you thought of getting a Home Office or a Play room in the garden, but the ones at the garden centre or D.I.Y. store do not fit or suite you?

Do you have a small odd shaped garden that would need a special structure?
I built this office/shed in the triangular far end of my tiny garden, and am sitting there now as I put this web-page together.

It has electricity and telephone lines and is so well insulated that it needs no extra heating for about eight months of the year, the heat the computer gives off and the sunshine provides enough heating most of the time. And when it gets really cold a small oil heater on low setting is enough keep it nice and warm.

Sometimes it is nice to have a space separate from the noise and commotion of the rest of the house, where you can do your thing in
peace and quiet. Or you could have the garden room as an area where the kids can do their thing without getting in your hair. It can all be made to suit your needs.
The roof
I made a curved roof with a curved front edge for minimum visual impact for neighbours and a pleasing look. This is a “Green roof” in more than one sense.
The sedum and other succulent plants on it are more pleasing to look at than the under-laying roof felt.
It warms in the winter and cools in the summer.
The vegetation prolongs the life of the roof felt as it is not exposed to direct sun light. If ecologically sound building is your thing, this may be for you.
The walls
I made the walls around a four inch timber frame, with the outside in exterior grade plywood, and OSB boards and cladding for the visible parts. The cavity is filled with insulation and again an OSB board on the inside, so it is easy to hang shelves etc. Then I put a thin insulating layer with foam and foil between them and the final plaster board layer.  This made it very warm dry and soundproof, without making the walls very thick - as to get maximum use of the space.
The shape
As you can see below, the shape is irregular, to make full use of that far corner of the garden.

If you need a solution like this, I am sure I can help you.

To the left is a small shed compartment, enough for tools etc. With a concealed door. This is not insulated, but has stayed much dryer than any normal shed I have had.
Being a Swedish Carpenter, I am experienced in timber construction and insulation matters. You will get a nice energy efficient garden room.
You can have your garden building made exactly they way you want it in the materials and finish of your choice.

I can also insulate any decent garden building or help assemble flatpacks.
